These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lord Blendz Barber Lounge website at lordblendz.com and your booking of services with us. By using this site, booking an appointment, creating an account, or receiving text messages from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Booking and appointments
Appointments booked through this site are requests for service at the selected date and time with the selected barber. We will do our best to honor every booking, but times may shift due to demand or unforeseen circumstances. You are responsible for providing an accurate name and mobile phone number so we can reach you about your appointment.
2. Walk-ins
Walk-ins are served on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to barber availability. A walk-in request does not guarantee a specific time or barber.
3. Cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows
Please cancel or reschedule as early as possible so we can offer the slot to another client. We ask for reasonable notice before your appointment time.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book online.
- If a deposit or prepayment is required for a booking, the cancellation and forfeiture terms will be shown to you before you confirm.
- We reserve the right to treat significant lateness as a no-show if it prevents us from completing your service.
For appointments prepaid online, the following refund schedule applies based on when you cancel relative to your appointment time:
- 3 or more hours beforeyour appointment — full refund (100%).
- Less than 3 hours beforeyour appointment — 50% refund.
- No-show(you do not arrive for your appointment) — no refund; the full amount is retained by Lord Blendz.
4. Payments and pricing
You may pay in store or, where available, online. Online payments are processed securely by our providers; we never see or store your full card number. Prices shown at the time of booking apply to that booking, and taxes and gratuity may apply where relevant. Available payment methods include:
- Square— card and point-of-sale processing;
- Afterpay— buy now, pay later;
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay — digital wallet payments.
5. Buy now, pay later (Afterpay)
If you choose Afterpay, your installment plan is a separate agreement between you and Afterpay, governed by Afterpay’s own terms and subject to its approval. Lord Blendz is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for installment scheduling, fees, or related decisions. You remain responsible for the full price of the services you book.
6. Refunds
Refunds for prepaid online bookings follow the cancellation schedule above: a full refund if you cancel 3 or more hours before your appointment, a 50% refund if you cancel less than 3 hours before, and no refund for a no-show. Refunds are issued to your original payment method through the relevant processor (for example, Square or Afterpay) and may take a few business days to appear. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.
7. SMS / text messaging terms
By providing your mobile number when booking or by checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Lord Blendz Barber Lounge at that number through our provider, Twilio. These terms apply to that program:
- What you receive— transactional messages such as booking confirmations and reminders, and, if you separately opt in, promotional messages.
- Frequency— message frequency varies based on your appointments and activity.
- Rates— message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out — reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
- Help — reply HELP for assistance.
- Consent is not required to buy — agreeing to promotional texts is not a condition of receiving any service.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
8. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Your phone number is used as your unique identity for your booking history. You may update your details at any time from your account page, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
9. Client conduct
We ask all clients to treat our staff and other clients with respect. We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or end service for abusive, unsafe, intoxicated, or disruptive behavior, and to decline service at our discretion as permitted by law.
10. Intellectual property
The Lord Blendz name, logo, site content, and design are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Photos you upload remain yours; by uploading them you allow us to store and display them as part of providing the service to you.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lord Blendz Barber Lounge and its owners and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our services, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lord Blendz Barber Lounge from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to venue there.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
